Strongly recommended.
The movers were booked for 800am 19/03/2026. We were messaged around 730am that they were running late by around 40 minutes. But that was the only real hiccup apart from a jump start.
The Taiwanese gentleman were otherwise amazing. Lovely people too.
They carefully, calmly and efficiently loaded the van with our full house hold.
At the other end, they were just as efficient and careful.
Also the price was fantastic too.
I will definitely use JD Movers again.

Great service. The staff were professional, courteous and efficient under really difficult circumstances (heat, two flights of stairs, and a long day). Highly recommended - will definitely use JD movers again.

The whole experience was awesome.
It was a big move from Ballarat back to Point Cook but JD movers made it look easy.
Right from the booking of the service till the time they finished loading stuff at our destination everything looked well co-ordinated.
Eric was very prompt in replying to all my email queries. The movers were very professional and friendly and take great care of all our household items.
Hats off to you guys for your exceptional service.

I’ve used this moving service twice now and have been really impressed both times. The team is very efficient and works quickly while still being careful with furniture and belongings. They follow instructions well and were very accommodating with specific requests during the move.
Everything was handled professionally and with care, which made the whole process much less stressful. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient moving service.

I can highly recommend JD Movers. We had an excellent moving experience with this team. No request was too small or too big. They took great care of our possessions and were careful when moving furniture into our new house. We had a few tricky aspects- they found genius ways to get the job done extremely efficiently.

I was struggling to find a company who would be willing to move a large, heavy glass display cabinet for me. I messaged Eric at 4:30pm on a Friday and they managed to squeeze me in for Saturday evening the very next day! They were very careful not to damage it when loading, even though it was tricky to manoeuvre with the size of the cabinet and just as careful when unloading it. Highly recommend these guys and will be using their services for sure again in the future.

Our move with JD Movers yesterday was very disappointing. The job was scheduled for 2-3pm, they didn't start until 7:15 PM, requiring constant follow-up from us.
Eric agreed to dispose a bed for a fee but didn't inform the crew. When we called, he yelled and argued, refusing responsibility ("It's not my mistake and I won't admit it!").
The delays were one thing, but the unprofessional attitude is inexcusable. Yelling at a customer is never okay. This was the worst customer service experience.

JD Movers were brilliant and I'd recommend them. Arrived on time, they were polite, respectful, quick and very efficient. They were also very quiet and respectful of the property. When unloading they checked where everything needed to go and were happy to install whatever needed it. They were cost effective and charged door to door, not depo to depo which saved $100's compared to some other quotes. We will use them again.

The team (I think Aaron and Jimmy?) that was sent to move my house sent me a message to inform me that they were running late and was constantly updating me on the progress. On arrival, they analyzed the items to be moved and planned accordingly to make sure all the items are stacked properly and safely. Placement of the items at the new location was done with utmost care.

Best removalists we’ve ever had!
We’ve used over a dozen removalists in the past 10 years, and JD Movers from Malvern East were easily the best.
Eric and his teammate helped us move our 4-bedroom home from Hawthorn to Surrey Hills, and they were outstanding. They showed up on time, worked quickly, problem-solved with ease & treated our belongings with care. They were genuinely professional and friendly the whole way through.
They had all the right tools of the trade to make the job ultra-efficient - ramps, trolleys, wraps, padding, rugs and everything needed to protect both homes and all our belongings. Nothing was too hard, and everything was done with care and attention to detail.
On top of that, they had great energy & great work ethic. It made the whole experience surprisingly enjoyable.

Our experience with JD Movers was really brilliant. They came right on time and were super efficient. They packed the truck and unloaded it in double quick time. Were more than happy to dismantle and assemble a couple of beds that we had. Didn't raise any concerns for anything whatsoever. Would highly recommend them and would surely engage them again for my next move.

Very happy with JD Movers. We only needed to move a piano and Eric gave me the best quote I could find. The two men handled our piano with care and despite how heavy it was and the numerous steps at our property, they got the job done efficiently and hassle free. Would highly recommend.

Overall we had a fantastic moving experience. While the guys were running late, they kept us updated with the estimated arrival time so that we weren't left wondering if they're ever turning up. Once they arrived, they were careful and worked together well. They did the job in a quarter of the time we would have needed, and their price was very competitive.
