Moving a Four-Bedroom Home from Hawthorn to Surrey Hills

In an August 2025 Google review, a customer described moving a four-bedroom home from Hawthorn to Surrey Hills with Eric and a teammate. What they remembered wasn’t the size of the truck. It was the equipment the crew brought to protect the belongings and the two homes: ramps and trolleys for moving items, along with wraps, padding and rugs.

Protecting the route as well as the furniture

The customer reported that the team arrived on time, worked quickly and handled their belongings with care. That account makes a useful distinction for anyone booking a family move: protection is about the path through each property, not just what goes around a piece of furniture. A padded cabinet still has to pass through doors and turn corners at both ends.

What to put on a four-bedroom quote request

A bedroom count is a starting point. A home with four furnished bedrooms and a full garage is a different load from a house with two spare rooms used as studies. List beds, wardrobes, sofas and boxed items, then do a separate pass through the garage, shed and outdoor area. For the widest piece, a photo of the tightest doorway can tell the movers more than another photo of the whole room.

The customer didn’t report a truck tonnage, job duration or price. For your own move, use the truck size guide to compare options, then send the inventory and access details for a quote.
